Another project working with the comms finance experts at MRM, we created a new website for Fairlight, a global alternative investment firm built on a foundation of experience, performance, and strategic partnerships.
Working closely with Ash O’Brien’s brand direction, we expanded on themes of alignment, growth, and confidence to bring the identity to life digitally. The site builds on visual cues of upward motion, consistency, and progress, echoing the values at the core of Fairlight’s work. We explored 3 different conceptual approaches, eventually landing on the current site designs after some development.
While the interface appears simple and streamlined, there’s a good deal going on beneath the surface. Given the sensitivity of the content and various regulatory requirements, the build required thoughtful planning and a layered setup behind the scenes. Part of this was walling off certain fund factrsheets, which are can only be downloaded via a password, and the download links' themselves not directly shared.
Visually, we kept things clean and focused, insitilling a 'quiet confidence', but achieved a premium feel with carefully placed interactions and transitions. GSAP-driven animations, brand-led motifs, and smooth page transitions work together to create a cohesive and engaging experience.
It’s always rewarding to help shape the digital presence of a new venture, especially one led by such an experienced team with a clear vision for growth and long-term alignment, and as always a pleasure working with Ash O'Brien.

Animations were created to add a bit of visual interest for the users, as well as to further communicate the concepts of growth and progression behind the brand and business.
To keep news and fund imagery consistent with the Fairlight Captial Partners brand, but also less reliant on us and Ash O'Brien, a series of effects are available within the CMS. Using a combination of stock photos that Ash sourced, different logo image treatment and colour choice, there are over 72 different ways to present an image.
Some areas of the site, and certain files are hidden behind a password, which protects sensitive financial data.
