Emery Little

Overview

This project was a fun collaboration between Maxine at New Tradition, who's worked with Emery Little for years on marketing and good friend and designer Claire Hartley.

Emery Little are a family financial planning and management business established in 1971. Their experienced financial planners give people the tools and confidence to make sense of their money and help plan their futures purpose based on goals, hobbies and dreams, rather than just hoarding wealth.

In this project I was responsible for planning the website based on the needs of current and future needs of Emery Little, the design of the site and the development.

The previous website was quite dated, and very inpersonal and corporate feeling, and whilst this might have suited their needs in the past, it needed to better reflect them as a business. A big part of this was showcasing the team, as it's the relationships they build with clients that impact meaningful change.

With Claire Hartley creating a new brand full of character, my task was to develop this into a digital prescence, and making the most of the new elements.

WordPress was selected as the CMS because the client was already familiar with it. We built the site using Gutenberg custom blocks, enhanced with ACF, resulting in a highly customisable and well-performing final product.
