Overview

CORE education is an academy of 4 schools in Birmingham, with fantastic energy, and an equally big and bold brand. I worked closely with the brand designer Luke Tonge to create something that felt aligned with the excitement of the brand, whilst still being easy to use and navigate.

Each school has it's own key colour used for their own brands, so we carried this concept through and themed the individual school pages. The theme just requires a key colour to be defined and then that's it.

CORE & CO

The CORE & Co Foundation is a registered charity set up by CORE Education Trust in 2020 to develop creative partnership programmes for children and young people. Much of the charity’s focus is aimed at working with vulnerable, at risk or under-served communities. The charity has also supported the development of programmes such as the award-winning Echo Eternal.

A while after launching, we helped the team develop a new site based on the CORE Education design and theme. It was eventually paused whilst they focussed on other projects, but it was fun resisting the design and making it work with the CORE & CO brand at the time. (this was also redesigned by Luke a year after launching)
