Overview

I designed and built the new Brandbuch website in close collaboration with their team. We've worked together for years, so the process was familiar and fluid; lots of back and forth, refining ideas and adjusting details until everything felt right. The goal was to keep things simple but impactful.

The design leans on bold type, strong visuals, and plenty of breathing room, all influcend by the updated brand work by David. It’s deliberately minimal, with a focus on clarity, readability, and the needs of their audience. While the layout is straightforward, there’s a lot of thought behind how content flows and how the work is presented. Some simple animations SVG animations were created to add bit of charm to an otherwise static design.

The site continues to run on Statamic, but we undertook the major upgrade from version 2 to 5. The CMS gave us the flexibility to build a modular setup behind the scenes, that means the Brandbuch team can easily manage and adapt content without needing to dig into code, something important for a studio that likes to stay nimble. Beyond all this, the site is also rapid and scores well on mobile and desktop for pageSpeed Insights.

Thanks to everyone involved
